The judge decides against new Copeland Child Custody-Trial Version

The child custody fight between gastronome Al Copeland and his ex-wife was back in court Tuesday.

Lawyers Lou Ann Hunter, ex-Lou Ann Copeland, who requested a new trial after accusations surface in a federal indictment, that their civil rights had been wounded in the first attempt.

The indictment alleges that at least one of Copeland’s’s lawyer conspired former judge Ronald Bodenheimer, and others in the process rig Copeland’s favor. The indictment is part of a broad investigation into allegations of corruption within the jurisdiction of Jefferson Parish.
