Legislators level diploma Mills

Philip Wong’s academic qualifications have any questions.

At least two university degrees in Beijing, after the legislator Philip Wong on its Web site and other personal stories have been accredited by the United Nations as American institutions as “diploma mills.”

On the official Legislative Council members website, lists Wong’s academic qualifications, as a doctorate in engineering from California Coast University (CCU) and a juris doctorate from Southland University, then in California, which is now Defunct, and a Master of Science (Engineering) of the University of California (UC).

In a report guiding Asia Financial Holdings (AFH), which Wong is a director, its results are considered “BSc, MSc, PhD and financial JD in 1963, 1967, 1982 and 1987.”AFH The report contains no list of institutions.

But an investigation by the standard has uncovered evidence that suggests the quality of diplomas by both CCU and SU is debatable.
